Arron Keenan works as a Business Process Manager at SEB Life International. He highlights SEB's collaborative culture.
With a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management for Manufacturing and a solid background in both Project Management and IT consultancy, Arron has always had a passion for process improvement and meaningful change.
“I completed my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt a few years ago, and that really shifted my perspective—I began looking at projects through more of a process-focused lens,” he explains. “When I joined SEB Life International in 2022, it was the perfect opportunity to bring together my experience in IT project delivery and process improvement. Since then, I’ve been involved in not only implementing new solutions but also identifying and improving areas where our processes can work better.”
So, tell us about your role.
Arron is part of the Change and Programme Management Team at SEB Life International. The team plays a central role in delivering strategic initiatives and pushing forward the company's digital transformation agenda through end-to-end automation.
“Technically, my role sits within the IT Department,” Arron says, “but I work very closely with the Business. My focus is on identifying, documenting, and designing more efficient, streamlined processes that align with our digital strategy.
The most rewarding part of the job is working on progressive projects—it’s actually quite a creative role. I love collaborating with stakeholders across the business to design or optimize processes that genuinely make a difference.”
Any exciting projects you're working on right now?
“At the moment, I’m leading our Digital Customer Journey Program. It's a major initiative focused on modernizing our digital ecosystem to support a more digitized, engaging customer experience.
The aim is twofold: to enhance how we interact with customers and to drive efficiencies within our internal processes and admin functions. It’s a big, complex program that touches many stakeholders—both internal and external—which makes it a challenging and really motivating piece of work for me.”
And what do you enjoy most about working at SEB?
“There’s a really strong culture here—both within SEB Life International and the wider SEB Group. I recently visited our Swedish office to deep-dive into a product onboarding process and had the chance to collaborate with colleagues from various divisions.
Everyone was incredibly welcoming, engaged, and generous with their knowledge. That level of openness and collaboration really stands out to me and makes SEB a great place to work.”
